Mr. Rakesh Dhir V.P. Marketing,
Garg Acrylics Ltd, Ludhiana
We are one of the largest spinners in North India. We have around 3,50,000 spindles and per day production capacity of 160 tonne. Apart from that we have a knitting facility of 20 circular knitting machines and garment facilities of making 30,000 prices per day. At this show we are mainly displaying fancy speciality yarn. We are not displaying here basic products but slubs, injection slubs, nepp, multi-clour nepp, linen yarns, pottli linen, glitter yarns, and lot of other things. Feedback is good here but buying house footfall is not very encouraging. Otherwise the response from local garmentors and knitters is very good. There is huge demand for injection slubs but basic slubs have become obsolete. Earlier we were producing nepp in a big way, now are producing flex yarn. We are planning to expand our capacities in knitting and to sell knitted fabrics. We are also planning to go for jet spinning. Overall, we are satisfied with this show and look forward to coming back again next year.
Mr. Mani Kant, Director,
M/s. Bishnu Texport Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi
We are representing Asahi Kasei Fiber Corporation from Japan. We are the manufacture of yarn called Cuprammonium Rayon (Cellulosic Fiber) and have another product called Spandex with brand name Roica. These are produced in Japan, and we are taking care for Indian market for them. We are displaying those yarns here. We have also introduced dyeable spandex, which means you can dye with cotton, polyester, nylon, the spandex will pick up the same dye stuff. We are the first in the world to introduce this. Our Cuprammonium fibre is widely being used in making sarees, dupattas and ladies tops but now we have come up with its application in shirting and undergarments also. We are associated F&A for last 4-5 years and had a wonderful experience till now. This move of coming to Delhi is appreciable, because for Indian textiles industry Delhi is a great platform being a central hub for the same. I got tremendous footfall at my stall with good quality buyers, and had a very good experience here.
Mr. Vipin Bathla, Vice President (Marketing),
M/s. Winsome Textile Industries Limited, Gurgaon
We are representing Winsome Textiles, and are into selling of value added yarns including dyed yarns and mélange yarns. We are doing a lot of value addition on mélanges, which is in great demand these days. Here we are showcasing our complete product range following our motto of passion for innovation. Nowadays roving grindle, and a lot of value addition on mélanges are in trend. We are selling fabrics doing mix-and match of mélanges as well as dyed yarns. We are feeding the fabric unit for all their auto-striper and speedo striper requirements. Like every show, on day-one Yarnex was little slow but on day-two it picked up very well. Day-three is remarkably good as all potential buyers are coming. But I think advertisement part is lacking on behalf of Yarnex. Overall, we are happy with the response, and will be coming back next year again.
Mr. Ritesh Dodhia, Director-Sales,
M/s. Dodhia Group
We are majorly into yarns and make value added fancy yarns for suiting, shirtings, knitting, upholstery fabrics and home furnishings. Here we are displaying huge fancy range of varieties. This is my first time participation in this show, but the response had been very good. Organisation wise and footfall wise the show is really good, and we got lots of enquiries and sampling orders. Today everyone is looking for value addition. So, they want new fancy developments, and this is the place where our company’s requirements are growing. Our current output is 2,500 tonne every month, out of which 60 per cent is exported and 40 per cent is consumed by domestic market. At this show mainly the end users are visiting. Overall, I am very much satisfied this exhibition, and will be participating again next year with a bigger stall.
